Antiflood

Info

This page is generated from the bot's built-in help (/help).

Stops people from spamming the chat with lots of messages in a short time. Admins and approved users are never affected. Albums (several photos sent together) count as one message.

There are two independent limits: - Consecutive: N messages in a row from the same person with nobody else posting in between. - Timed: N messages from the same person within a time window, no matter who else posts.

Commands

  • /flood: show the current settings.
  • /setflood <n|off>: trigger after n consecutive messages (minimum 2). Off by default.
  • /setfloodtimer <n> <time> or off: trigger after n messages within time, e.g. /setfloodtimer 10 30s.
  • /setfloodmode <nothing|warn|kick|ban|tban 1d|mute|tmute 2h>: what happens to flooders (default: mute). Prefix with s for a silent action (needs /silentsettings).
  • /clearflood <on/off>: when on, every message of the flood is deleted instead of only the last one.

Example: /setflood 5, /setfloodmode tmute 10m and /clearflood on mutes anyone posting 5 messages in a row for 10 minutes and cleans up all 5 messages.
